VEGAN NUTRITION! This applies to all forms of dieting. People, worry no more because I’m here to tell you that eating as a vegan and dieting in general doesn’t have to be hard. Just because you’ve changed your diet preferences or are thinking about changing doesn’t mean you have to start making crazy gourmet food and eating new things just because you’ve stopped eating meat or you’re being stricter on what you eat. Think basics people, what do we know is health for us? – fresh food – lots of fruit and vegetables – potatoes, rice, oats, pasta, bread, all are good carbs and all are vegan! – Beans and legumes – A decent protein source (tofu/temphe/lentils) – healthy fats: avacardo, nuts, seeds, olive oil, coconut oil etc. All in moderation. Be simple and all will fall into place. You know how to eat properly and not like a 5 year old. Most of you just choose to eat cake and biscuits and fast food, because it’s convenient. A diet shouldn’t be something you force yourself to do. It should be a lasting lifestyle change. Start cooking and preparing and eating in moderation and you will get the results you want. If you want to be extra accurate, use a good tracker like my fitness pal, set yourself a caloric goal and scan your food in, again it doesn’t have to be specific food. Just eat and scan and stop eating when you’ve hit your goal, simple. Here are some examples of what I eat when I’m building muscle, I eat plenty of carbs, get a moderate amount of fat in, and I’m varied enough to get in around 200g of protein in from all my food combined! Don’t miss out on your green vegtables as they really do give you a huge boost to protein! Honestly though, for beginners, just focus on eating 3 whole meals a day, 5 portions of fruit and/or vegetables. And hitting a calorie goal and you will be more than on your way to success. If anyone has any questions, don’t be afraid to message me! #vegan #veganfitness #vegandiet #vegantracking #veganbodybuildong #howtobevegan #veganfood #natural #fruit #vegtables #naturalbodybuilding #bodybuilding #coaching #personaltraining #pt #onlinecoaching #followforfollows #likeforlikes

From my recent story on Vegan Cutting, I give to you a bit more depth and context on how to build a vegan meal/ meal plan. And how to get that all important protein💪 The most important thing I’ve learned is always getting alot of dark leafy green vegtables along with your more colourful vegtables in as a base to your meal. They give a great little protein boost and harvest alot of the vitamins and minerals your body needs. Not to mention they’re low in calories. Next I would look towards getting a good protein source with a decent amount of protein amount in it aswell. Something like quinoa, buckwheat, lentil pasta/spaghetti, black bean spaghetti are all good choices for a high protein/carb option. If however you’re in a bulking phase, simply having a bit higher carb sources such as potato, white rice, pasta, oats etc are just as good. Most of my meals will only consist of vegtables and carb sources with high protein. However when it comes to needing a bit of protein that taking a shake a day can’t cover I’ll look to adding soy products into my diet. I don’t like using fake meats so I only ever use tofu or dehydrated soy mince. I’ve never had any problems with this in side effects or digestion. Finally fats tend to be quite low if you don’t add them in. Things like nut butters, udos oil, avacardo, seeds and soy products will give you that dietary fat. I hope this gives you guys a bit more context or idea on how to make a vegan meal. It really is simple when you follow these steps.

Post Workout the vegan way Like anything, whenever you do something that’s new or out of the norm (in this case veganism) it takes time to learn what it’s all about and how to do it correctly. I see alot of people who go vegan and haven’t the slightest of clues on what to do, I’ve even seen some that end up living on rice cakes and peanut butter or eat just potato or something silly. All It takes is a little knowledge and research and if you need any help I’m always here to offer a hand 🤔😋 This was my post workout. Nice and simple carb focused meal, apples and oranges on the bottom, cooked buckwheat as an alternative to oats mixed with protein powder and topped with some lovely frozen blue berries. Simple and delicious 👍 Becoming vegan isn’t about restricting your food, it’s about being adventurous and opening your mind to a whole new food range 🙄 #vegannutrition #vegan #veganuary #vegandiet #veganbodybuilding #veganfood #veganlifestyle #vegan #bodybuilding #exercise #natural #naturalbodybuilding #vegantips #champion #new #exiting #food #foodporn #follow4follow #followforfollow #likeforlike #like4like #picoftheday

I’ve always been hyper critical of myself whilst I’m in the moment, it takes me a long time before I can look back and apreciate what I went through and what I gained from it. This was my posing routein from the UK & International finals. The package I brought was amazing, looking back at it and I’m supper happy with what I was able to achieve in my first season. For sure I’ll bring a bigger, shredded and more complete package to juniors when I do return and of course I’ll be going for that gold! If you’ve got thoughts about competing this year or would like to build muscle or lose fat, get in touch with me and let’s build a tailored plan to get you there 💪💪 #grimface #skullface #shredded #bodybuilding #comletativebodybuiliding #naturalcompetitor #ukdfba #wnbf #champion #posing #vegan #veganbodybuilding #veganathlete #diet #prep #follow4follow #like4like #followforfollow #likeforlike #picoftheday
